The Horizon 2020 funded NADINE project presents the 2nd Joint Migration Policy Workshop: Towards sustainability and adoption

The consortium of the Horizon 2020 funded project NADINE (digital integrated iNtegrAteD system for the social socIal support of migraNts and refugEes) will deliver the 2nd joint policy workshop alongside the sister projects, Easyrights, MIICT, REBUILD, MICADO and WELCOME, which have all received funding from the EU’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme, on the 21st and 22nd October 2021. The workshop will take place online between 9:00 CET and 12:00 CET on both days.

Day 1 will focus on service design and social integration, with NADINE hosting a session on community-oriented approach in integration procedures, and the sister projects presenting sessions on human rights literacy in service design and supply, co-creation approaches and their transformative impact on participatory design, approach to service design and integration, privacy and data protection and the personalization of the intelligent technology-based migrant services.

Day 2 will cover the area of the sustainability of solutions and social integration. NADINE representatives will deliver a session on the main bottlenecks in migrants' integration procedures, whilst the sister projects will introduce an assessment standard of service accessibility (the mediation grammar), the sustainability of ICT-based migrants integration solutions, approach to uptake and sustainability, the sustainability of the novel ICTs, and considerations of the psychosocial dimensions of Third Country Nationals in the development of AI-supported integration services: challenges and learnings.

The policy roundtable will also act as a final multiplier event for the NADINE project presenting the projects results and aims to involve key stakeholder groups which were involved in the piloting phases including local, regional, and national policymakers from the countries represented by the project consortia.
