Discover the new VIPvalues+ website: Technology at the service of peace and socio-digital inclusion in Europe
We are launching the new website of VIPvalues+, a European project for the promotion of peace and inclusion of young people in Europe, especially migrants and refugees. The program enables young Europeans to acquire the necessary skills and techniques to develop projects focused on cultivating peace and combating social and digital exclusion within the European Union.
VIPvalues+ is an initiative funded by the Erasmus+ Program of the European Commission, coordinated by Fundación Cibervoluntarios (Spain) and jointly developed by a European consortium composed of five other organisations: VAEV (Austria), SEAL Cyprus (Cyprus), Conexx-EU (Belgium), Fundación Cultura de Paz (Spain) and Associazione Coopisa (Italy).
Among the new features of the website is a dynamic e-Learning platform, with interactive training content and a methodology that relies on ICTs to promote peace and the inclusion of the most disadvantaged young people, especially migrants and refugees.
In addition, VIPvalues+ encourages the exchange of good practices and promotes the proactive and horizontal participation of young people to develop critical thinking through non-formal learning. To this end, it has created a collaborative workspace in which to promote the acquisition and certification of technological skills and the construction of peace projects.
VIPvalues+ also works to raise awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda and, specifically, #ODS16: "Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions". This project also makes visible the initiatives created by the participants, selected in each of the countries of the consortium partners. Finally, the website makes available to the public a dissemination kit, including different downloadable graphic materials, designed to give visibility to VIPvalues+ and generate interactions with different target groups at local, regional and European level.
