We launch the new Cyberseniors website: online training resources and interactive content to promote active ageing through ICTs
We are launching the new website of Cyberseniors, a program coordinated by the Fundación Cibervoluntarios, focused on promoting active ageing through ICT and the training of people over 55, especially in rural areas, in the use of mobile applications to carry out their daily tasks. Cyberseniors is co-funded by the European Commission's Erasmus+ program and is developed jointly with partners VAEV (Austria), Synthesis (Cyprus), Age & Opportunity (Ireland) and ANFMR (Romania).
The main objective of this European program is to train people over 55 at risk of socio-digital exclusion in general, and in rural areas in particular, in the use of ICT tools that help them to carry out everyday tasks in different areas: leisure, health, online banking, virtual communication, public administrations, etc., and how to use them safely.
In this new phase, we offer new features such as the new online e-learning and training platform, which provides access to open educational resources for guided training, video tutorials focused on continuous training, as well as an online self-assessment questionnaire. We have also created a space for sharing video experiences, promoting storytelling among project participants.
